Deacon Ordination

Kevin King will be ordained Sunday, August 1st
during the p.m. service.
There will be a reception in the gym to follow.

All ordained men are invited to attend the questioning
at 5:00 p.m. in Brooks Chapel.

on Sunday, August 15th
and end on Sunday, November 14th.

There will be classes for 1st time FAITH participants,
Men, Women, and Couples.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED!

Women on Mission Project

The WOM will be collecting school supplies
for the needy children. The supplies collected
will be distributed among the teachers in
our congregation. A collection box will be
located outside the church office.

Items Needed:

Pocket folders, pens, pencils, loose leaf
paper, dry board erasers and markers, crayons,
scissors, glue sticks, paper towels, kleenex,
clorox wipes, hand sanitizers, light weight jackets,
socks, and change of clothes for K-4.

Baseball Game

Friday, August 20th
cost: $12.00 per person

You can ride the church van or caravan.
The church van will be leaving at 4:30 p.m.
and stopping for supper on the way.
The game begins at 7:45 p.m. and is
followd by Firestone Friday Fireworks.
Reservations must be made through
the church office by
Wednesday, August 11th.
