2008 Presentation (March 27, March 28, March 29, & March 30)

Every Spring, Washington Avenue Baptist Church prepares for the annual presentation of our passion play, "Cookeville Passion Play ". Our production begins during Jesus' last days on earth. The past three years of His life were dedicated to teaching, healing, and preparing His followers for what was to come.

What was about to come, Jesus predicted in Luke 18:32 . . .
"He (Jesus) will be handed over to the Gentiles.
They will mock Him, spit on Him, flog Him and kill Him.
On the third day He will rise again."
