Senior Pastor
Mark Gaw has been pastor of Washington Avenue Baptist Church since December 1999. Mark is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University and Cumberland University. Mark and his wife, Sherry, have two children, Paul and Sara.

Shane Bowling
Associate Pastor / Education & Administration
Shane returned to WABC in May 2004, after having previously served as part-time Minister of Education and College Students. He holds a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Technological University and a master's degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Shane and his wife, Cathy, are the parents of twin boys.

Brian Tadlock
Minister of Music
Brian came to WABC in January 2003. His ministry experience varied prior to coming to Washington Avenue, having served in Music Ministry, Youth/Student Ministry, and Administrative Ministry in Ohio and Texas. He hold's a bachelor's degree in Music from Texas A&M-Commerce and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brian and his wife, Susan, have one daughter.

Ryan McGann
Minister of Youth & Children
Ryan joined the WABC staff in April 2007. He has held
positions as Student Pastor and Summer Youth Minister
in South Carolina. He holds a bachelor's degree in
Management from Clemson University and attended
SE Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan and his wife,
Catherine, have two sons, Josiah and Aedan.
