Get involved at The Avenue!

Ben Eastin has accepted a counseling position at Providence Christian School in Murfreesboro, TN. He and Kaity’s last Sunday will be June 29. We thank God for Ben and Kaity’s service in leading our student ministry over the past 4½ years at Washington Avenue. Join us on Sunday, June 29, after the 10:30 service, as we celebrate and honor Ben and Kaity for their faithful service. If you would like to show your appreciation, you are welcome to bring cards or gift cards to share with them during this time.

Breyer Taylor, who has been working with our youth, will begin working with our students on a part-time basis in July. We will keep you updated on future plans for the leadership of our youth ministry.

Please be in prayer for our mission teams going to Romania and Nova Scotia this summer. Pray for safety for the teams and many opportunities to share the gospel with others.

180 for 180: Turning lives around through Christ

Since 1982, Lighthouse Christian Camp has provided weeks of summer camp to disadvantaged and needy children. Through the camp, thousands of children, who never otherwise would have the opportunity, have come – free of charge – to experience the beauty of God’s creation in a new and meaningful way. A donation of $180 will send one child to camp this summer. If you’d like to help, please click link below to donate through the Lighthouse website.
