WABC will be collecting for the Golden Offering during the month of September. The Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions provides funding for critical mission strategy and sustains state ministries not funded through the TBMB Cooperative Program. The Week of Prayer for Tennessee Missions is a concentrated time of prayer for Tennessee Baptists which coincides with the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions. Prayer guides for this week are located on the table in the back of the sanctuary.

WABC Personnel Committee recommends that Breyer Taylor be appointed to the position of Student and Small Groups Minister in a full-time capacity. The church will vote by ballot Sunday, September 7. Members may also vote online through Sunday, September 7, by clicking the link below.

Parents, September 12, 6 – 8:30PM, is for you! Let us take care of the kids and enjoy a moment out together. This is for children of all ages, and the cost is $10 per child. Maximum is $30 per family.  The cost includes dinner.

New membership classes start next week! If you’d like to know more about WABC or if you’re ready join in what God is doing here, there are two opportunities to attend: Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings. Wednesday nights will be on September 10 and 17 at 6PM in the College Room, upstairs in building A. Dinner will be served in the gym at 5:30PM.

We also offer classes on Sunday morning at 9:15AM on September 14 and 21 in Room C105 Childcare is available during all classes. Please register online by clicking one of the links below.

Sunday, September 28, will be Missions Emphasis Sunday and will be a time for us to encourage two missionaries that we support. Andy Napier with TransWorld Radio will be speaking Sunday morning, and Dr. Don Ragland will be the speaker Sunday evening. We will have a meal at 5PM on Sunday evening before the service at 6PM. Representatives from several local missions that we support will also attend the dinner and service.

During the month of September, we’re inviting YOU to help us Spread the Love by making sure kids in our community have the food they need when school is out. Your generous donations will help us include this nutritious treat in every child box we prepare over the next year ensuring six distributions of love and care.
