Get involved at The Avenue!
Are you a teacher in our community? Do you want to experience more of Jesus in you and with you at your school? Join us for a one-day transformational experience for Christian educators that opens our eyes to how God is using us as His ambassadors and then frees us to work more powerfully with Jesus. This event will be held here at WABC THIS Saturday, August 29, 8:30AM - 4PM. Scan the QR to learn more and to register.
Men of all ages are invited to join us on Thursday, September 10, for a night of fun and fellowship along with a word from Major Jeff Struecker, a former U.S. Army Ranger, who took part in the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu made famous by the film 'Black Hawk Down.' Major Struecker is currently an author and a pastor. The night will include a meal at 5PM followed by fun activities such as ax throwing, cornhole, a golf simulator, and a car show! Major Struecker will then speak at 7PM. Click the button below to register.
Parents, let us take care of the kids and enjoy a moment out together on September 11, 6 - 8PM. This is for children of all ages, and the cost is $10 per child. Maximum is $30 per family. The cost includes dinner for the kids. Space is limited. Registration ends September 8. Click the button below to register.
All ladies ages 13 and up are invited to join us in the Multipurpose Room for popcorn and a movie! Feel free to wear your pjs or comfy clothes and bring your camping chair. We will be showing the movie “Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret.” No registration needed. Just show up and enjoy!
A New membership class will be held September 13 at 9:15AM in the Student Center for anyone interested in learning more about WABC. Childcare is available. Please register online by scanning the QR code.
