Get involved at The Avenue!

Ladies ages 18 and up are invited to join our summer Bible study at Vertical Coffee Co on Thursday evenings at 6PM beginning tonight. We will be reading In His Image by Jen Wilkin. Click below to join the group!

This Sunday we honor and thank the fathers and father figures in our church family. Thank you for your love, leadership, hard work, and faithful example. Your dedication to your families and your faith makes a lasting difference.

We appreciate all that you do and pray God's blessings upon you today and throughout the year. Have a wonderful Father's Day!

Join us for breakfast in the gym 8:30am - 9:30am this Sunday, June 21. We will be serving sausage and egg biscuits from McDonald's. We hope it will be a blessing to you and your family!

Arion Carter, outside linebacker for the University of Tennessee football team, will be at First Baptist on July 9 at 6:30 p.m. to share about his role at UT and his personal testimony. Area football teams will be attending, and all are invited to join us for this special evening.

Join us on Thursday, July 9, at 7PM for a special gospel concert featuring the Mark Trammell Quartet and the Glorylanders. Come enjoy an evening of uplifting music and worship. Everyone is welcome!

Ladies, save the date for the Rooted Women’s Conference on September 19 from 9:00AM–12:00PM at Cookeville First Baptist! Avenue Women is excited to partner with First Baptist Women to welcome speaker Elizabeth Woodson for a morning of encouragement, connection, and growth. Registration is just $20, and childcare will be available. We’d love for you to join us and invite a friend!

As summer approaches, several members of our church family will be serving on mission trips both near and far. We invite you to partner with them through prayer. Please pray for safe travel, open hearts, meaningful connections, and that God’s love would shine through every conversation and act of service.

Most importantly, pray that lives will be touched and transformed through the Gospel. Thank you for supporting our mission teams as they answer God’s call to serve others this summer.
