Get involved at The Avenue!
As we gathered to begin Vacation Bible School this week, God provided a breathtaking reminder of His presence and faithfulness. Just as the rain was ending, a brilliant double rainbow appeared directly over our church, stretching across the sky as though God Himself was extending a colorful welcome to the children gathering to discover the love of Jesus through VBS.
Throughout Scripture, the rainbow serves as a symbol of God's covenant and His enduring promises. Seeing this beautiful display on the very first day of VBS reminded us that Jesus is the Light of the world, shining through every storm and guiding us with hope, grace, and love.
Thank you to everyone who helped make VBS 2026 such a meaningful and memorable week. Your time, energy, prayers, and servant hearts made a lasting impact on so many lives. We were blessed to welcome an average of 145 children each day, supported by over 100 incredible volunteers, and we rejoice that several children received Jesus as their Savior. Thank you for being part of what God is doing through our church and community.
As summer approaches, several members of our church family will be serving on mission trips both near and far. We invite you to partner with them through prayer. Please pray for safe travel, open hearts, meaningful connections, and that God’s love would shine through every conversation and act of service.
Most importantly, pray that lives will be touched and transformed through the Gospel. Thank you for supporting our mission teams as they answer God’s call to serve others this summer.
