Get involved at The Avenue!
Beginning October 1, we are changing the way we share church announcements. All announcements included in the bulletin will also be posted in the Happening at The Avenue section of the Church Center app. Announcements will remain available until the event or activity has ended.
You can access them just as you do now by tapping the first icon (which will look like the image above) on the Church Center Home page. Because announcements will be available there continuously, we will no longer send out a weekly blog; however, we will continue to send out a weekly email with a link to the announcements for a few weeks.
If you do not currently use Church Center, this is a great way to stay up to date with what’s happening in our church community. You can download the app by clicking the button below. If you need help getting started, please call or stop by the church office—we’d be happy to help!
Men, come have breakfast with us on Saturday at 8:30AM in the gym. Come hungry and bring a friend!
During the month of September, we will be collecting for the Golden Offering for TN state missions. Our church goal is $7,500 and you can donate by placing your offering in a yellow envelope located in the pew racks and dropping it in the offering plate or you can donate online by clicking the button below.
The deadline to sign up for the April 2027 trip to the Holy Land is October 3. If you’re interested in making the trip, click below for more information.
September 30 is the last day to donate a 16oz jar of peanut butter so we can ensure no local kid is hungry during school breaks! Feel free to leave your jars of peanut butter in the baskets in the Central Lobby or scan the QR code to donate if you can’t make it to the store.
WABC will be hosting a Trunk or Treat at Jere Whitson Elementary School on October 25, 4 - 6PM. We need about 30 people/families to decorate and host a trunk and several others to volunteer in different areas. If you are willing to help, please scan the QR code to sign up.
