Get involved at The Avenue!
During the month of September, we will be collecting for the Golden Offering for TN state missions. Our church goal is $7,500 and you can donate by placing your offering in a yellow envelope located in the pew racks and dropping it in the offering plate or you can donate online by clicking the button below. September 13-20 is the Week of Prayer, and you can pick up a prayer guide from the table in the back of the sanctuary.
The deadline to sign up for the April 2027 trip to the Holy Land is fast approaching. If you’re interested in making the trip, click below for more information.
Help us spread the love. Donate a 16oz jar of peanut butter during the month of September so we can ensure no local kid is hungry during school breaks! Feel free to leave your jars of peanut butter in the baskets in the Central Lobby or scan the QR code to donate if you can’t make it to the store.
Men of all ages are invited to join us on Thursday, September 10, for a night of fun and fellowship along with a word from Major Jeff Struecker, a former U.S. Army Ranger, who took part in the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu made famous by the film 'Black Hawk Down.' Major Struecker is currently an author and a pastor. The night will include a meal at 5PM followed by fun activities such as ax throwing, cornhole, a golf simulator, and a car show! Major Struecker will then speak at 7PM. Click the button below to register.
Parents, let us take care of the kids and enjoy a moment out together on September 11, 6 - 8PM. This is for children of all ages, and the cost is $10 per child. Maximum is $30 per family. The cost includes dinner for the kids. Space is limited. Registration ends September 8. Click the button below to register.
All ladies ages 13 and up are invited to join us in the Multipurpose Room for popcorn and a movie! Feel free to wear your pjs or comfy clothes and bring your camping chair. We will be showing the movie “Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret.” No registration needed. Just show up and enjoy!
A New membership class will be held September 13 at 9:15AM in the Student Center for anyone interested in learning more about WABC. Childcare is available. Please register online by scanning the QR code.
