Get involved at The Avenue!

WABC and Campus Outreach needs families to adopt college students to help connect them with the families of WABC. We want the students to know that they have somebody who cares for them and their growth while they are away from home. Here are a few ways you could minister to them.
Invite your student to eat with you.
Offer assistance with meals or medicine in times of illness.
Be a resource if they need to talk.
Join them at one of their on-campus events.
Invite them for holidays as a home away from home.
Invite them to the events and activities that your family is involved in.
If your family would be willing to minister to our college students in this way, please register by clicking the button below.

Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you would like to help send 165 boxes from WABC, click the link below to give through Church Center. The suggested donation for packing and shipping one box is $25.

Lighthouse Christian Camp ministers to disadvantaged children in Middle Tennessee. They are expecting about 800 precious children at their BIG CHRISTMAS PARTIES! If you would like to donate items, you may bring your unwrapped gifts here. Or you can scan the QR code above to go to Lighthouse's Christmas Registry on Amazon and have your gifts delivered directly to Lighthouse! If you would like more information about Lighthouse Christian Camp's Christmas parties and/or make a donation, you may click on the link below. Please submit your donations, whether gifts or money, by November 15.
You’re invited to a special service of prayer, worship, and communion. Let’s gather as a church family to lift our hearts in praise and draw near to the Lord in unity. We hope you will stay afterward for a meal in the gym. Nursery is provided during the service.

Ladies of WABC are invited to gather on Wednesday night, December 3, for a time of worship, encouragement, and teaching by Kelly Minter.
As the season of Advent draws near, our hearts often feel full and frazzled all at once. The demands of December pull us in so many different directions. Both our hearts and calendars fill up way too quickly. Even as good as the things that fill our calendars may be, there is also the gentle whisper of Advent that calls us back to what matters most. In the middle of the holiday hurry, this gathering is an invitation to pause, to breathe deeply, open the Scriptures, and prepare space for Jesus to enter in. He is faithful to do so.
This virtual event is free of charge, so click below to register.
Childcare is available, and light refreshments will be served.

The Church Center App is the most important tool that we use here at WABC. Click below to launch the app and get more involved!
